A Few Words About Us
Situated in the coastal village of Muchalls, located just off the A92, and 10 minutes south of Aberdeen,or a short trip from Deeside via the AWPR. The restaurant derives its name from the sea stacks located on the beautiful surrounding coastline.
The food style is seasonal and inventive, with a strong emphasis on using local suppliers where possible and showcasing the finest of produce from the surrounding area. We pride ourselves in being a family friendly restaurant in relaxed and casual surroundings where everybody is welcome (including Dogs!)

Head Chef and owner Andy Smart. who has over 25 years’ experience cooking in some of Scotland’s best establishments such as Gleneagles, St Andrews Old Course Hotel and The Marcliffe at Pitfodels, to name but a few, and has also ran his outside catering company, Smart Cuisine, since 2003.
His career has taken him all round the world and has cooked for member’s of the royal family, sports celebrities, movie stars and famous politicians along the way. His cuisine draws influences from travelling and working overseas.
