Celebrate the festive period at The Stack!

Christmas 2020’s celebrations didn’t flow as freely as we had hoped, but this year we’ll make up for it!

From the 26th of November and throughout December we’lll be offering our normal menu which shall  include the dishes below.

For parties of 8 or over there is a set price option which can be preordered and adapted to include selected dishes from our full menu, on request.

Lunch 2 courses £24.00 or 3 courses £29.00
Dinner 2 courses £29.00 or 3 courses £34.00

Starters

Confit Gressingham duck leg and Stornoway black pudding with nectarine, plum and red wine

 Hot and cold smoked local Scottish salmon with sweet and sour lemon, crispy capers,crème fraiche     

Roast pumpkin, lemongrass and coconut soup, coriander and pumpkin seed pesto

Roasted jerusalem artichoke with smoked pear, goats cheese and walnut praline

Main Courses

 Maple roasted turkey breast, chestnut and cranberry stuffing, creamed sprouts, duck fat potatoes

Braised feather blade of beef in burnside brewery dark beer, smoked mash, baby carrot, pickled shimeji mushrooms

Butter roasted  fillet of Cod, vietnamese spiced shellfish bisque, pak choi fried rice 

Jeruslaem artichoke and wild mushroom torte with chestnuts, chard and pecorino (v)

Desserts

Cardamon and lime leaf pannacotta with palm sugar and ginger roasted pineapple, coconut sorbet

Spiced sticky toffee pudding, xmas pudding ice cream, rum caramel sauce

Scottish and continental cheese selection with quince and oatcakes
